I am a classically trained Cordon Bleu chef. I graduated through the Silwood School of Cookery, an internationally recognized school. I have had the privilege of working in some of Cape Town’s top hotels and restaurants including the Greenways Hotel, Tank Restaurant and sushi bar, Blues Restaurant in Camps Bay and Ellerman House Boutique Hotel. For the past three years I have been employed at a 5 star Relais and Chateaux Hotel in Bantry Bay Cape Town, where I was the private chef of an exclusive Villa. This is where I have had the opportunity to meet and work for some of the world’s most successful people and their families. I have learnt new tastes, from the spices and flavours of Eastern meals to the modern flavours of the west. I would like to continue my passion and love for food as your private holiday chef or specialised event caterer and bring my five star culinary skills and service knowledge to your home, venue or holiday. I am based in Cape Town but am able to travel nationally or internationally. My menus are above all, classic, fresh and seasonal and my presentation creative and imaginative. – Chef Jeremy Vermaak
